Tap Askon the Finances screen and ask the way you’d ask a person: “How much did I spend on groceries in July?” “What’s my average grocery spend this quarter?” “What subscriptions did I add this year?” The answer comes back as one direct sentence with the figures.

It shows its work

Every answer displays the filters it used — category, date range, accounts — and the matching transactions underneath, so a wrong interpretation is visible and one rephrase away. The numbers are computed by PES from your ledger; the AI narrates, it never does the math.

Only your numbers, never advice

Ask describes the money you’ve recorded — it doesn’t give financial advice, and it can’t answer about anything outside your own PES data. Questions are answered one at a time and aren’t stored as a conversation.
