Signing in & account security
Passwords, one-time codes, magic links, and Google, Microsoft, and Apple sign-in — and what PES will never ask you for.

Ways to sign in
PES supports email + password, and sign-in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple. New email accounts confirm with a 6-digit code sent to your inbox — type it in and you’re through.
On the login page, Email me a sign-in link instead sends a one-time magic link for accounts that prefer to skip passwords entirely.
02
Forgot your password
Use Forgot password on the login page. PES emails a recovery code; once you’re verified, you set a new password. Changing your password later from Settings asks for your current one first.
03
What PES never asks for
PES will never email you asking for your password, a sign-in link, or a one-time code. Codes and links are for you to type into the app — never to send to anyone, including support. If a message asks for them, it isn’t from us.
04
Leaked-password protection
When you set a password, PES checks it against known breach databases and refuses ones that have appeared in leaks — a small friction that keeps the obvious break-ins out.
