Block alerts
Turn on “Notify when a block begins” in Settings → Alerts and PES notifies you as each block starts — the nudge that turns a plan into a day. The notification arrives even with the app closed on platforms that support background push.

Per device, on purpose
Alerts are enabled per device, so your desk machine can ring while your nightstand doesn’t. On iPhone, install PES to the Home Screen first — Install PES walks through it — then enable alerts from inside the installed app.

The Monday email
Check “Email me a weekly review on Mondays” under Settings → Alerts and PES sends one email each Monday: last week reviewed, in numbers that tell the truth. No other marketing rides along — it’s the review, or nothing.

Quiet by default
Everything here is opt-in. PES sends nothing — no push, no email — until you ask, and each channel turns off exactly where it turned on.
