Google Calendar sync
Two-way, on your terms: your Google events appear in PES, and PES writes its blocks to a dedicated “PES” calendar it owns.

Connect Google Calendar
Open Settings and connect your Google account. Your Google Calendar events appear alongside your PES blocks, so planning happens around the meetings that already exist. You can disconnect at any time in the same place — disconnecting revokes PES’s access with Google, not just in the app.

The sync is two-way — carefully
PES also writes your plan back to Google, into a dedicated calendar named “PES” that it creates in your Google account. Your blocks show up on every device your Google Calendar reaches — and because they live in their own calendar, you can show or hide them anywhere with one checkbox. The sync runs itself: a few seconds after any change to your plan, PES pushes an update — a burst of edits collapses into a single sync, and it never slows the app down. The hub in Settings shows the connection at a glance — who’s connected, whether two-way is on, a real “synced Xm ago” that survives reloads — and Sync now forces an immediate refresh anytime.

Your events are never touched
The boundary is hard: PES only ever creates, updates, or removes events it wrote itself, inside the PES calendar. Your existing Google events — work meetings, shared calendars, anything you or anyone else created — are read, never edited, moved, or deleted.

Reconnect needed?
If the connection ever goes read-only or its access expires, the hub shows an amber Reconnect needed prompt — disconnect and connect again and two-way sync is restored. Early connections from before write-back shipped need the same sixty- second reconnect, once.
