Auto-plan — the day planner
Brain-dump the day or hand it your open tasks; the planner drafts a timeboxed schedule around what's already fixed — you accept it or you don't.

Step one: what's on your plate
Hit Auto-plan on Today and dump the day, one item per line — the planner reads times, days, and durations from plain words (“dentist 2pm,” “proposal by Friday,” “emails ~30m”). Or write nothing and let it draft from your open task queue instead.

Step two: shape the pieces
Everything becomes an editable chip: include it or not, fix the title, set the estimate, mark the energy — Deep for focus work, Light for admin, or Auto. Where PES has evidence, it offers the learned duration from what similar tasks actually took.

Step three: the draft day
The planner lays your tasks into the open gaps around what’s already fixed — calendar events, training, connected Google events — and shows the drafted day with a reason for each placement. If it doesn’t all fit, it says so plainly and makes you choose per item: Move to tomorrow or Keep for today. No pretending the day is bigger than it is.
Accept plan writes the blocks; Re-plan tries again; Adjust goes back a step. Until you accept, nothing is touched.

And “Suggest times”
Inside the morning Plan your day ritual, the same intelligence powers Suggest times — once you’ve picked your three, it proposes where they fit. Planning stays a decision; placement becomes a suggestion.
